Joe Yeres is a Director at StoneCastle Partners, LLC. Initially, Joe joined us to work in our subsidiaries dedicated to investing capital securities issued by community banks and has since worked in numerous portfolio companies’ day-to-day activities. For the past three years, he has spent the majority of his time in our digital business, StoneCastle Digital Solutions (“SCDS”). At SCDS, his primary responsibility is integrating digital companies that seek to offer banking services with a select group of partner banks. Joe plays an essential role in coordinating BaaS operations, which require nuanced and complex partnerships. Joe also oversees the project management office (PMO), designed to ensure each portfolio company's alignment with StoneCastle’s strategy to realize value.

Prior to joining us in 2015, Joe worked for a fund that focused on direct lending to specialty finance companies. He began his career at JP Morgan in the Country Risk Group that quantified and analyzed firm-wide sovereign exposure. Joe graduated cum laude from the University of Delaware with a BS in Finance.

Joe is passionate about the impact that mentorship and education can have on a child’s life. He serves on the board of a Bronx-based 501(c)(3) dedicated to empowering at-risk inner-city youth to be agents for positive change in the world by cultivating an environment that encourages teamwork, hard work, and creativity.
